Sometimes you have to give up that luxury when the price online is so much lower than the store. But Cycle Gear prices at the stores and at CycleGear.com are really competitive. Over the years, I have purchased jackets, pants, boots, and helmets from the Cycle Gear in San Francisco. Sometimes they don't carry an item in stock, so I order it at CycleGear.com and use the "ship to store" option. That way, when it comes in, I don't leave the store without trying it on. If its not perfect, I don't accept it and don't have to pay for it. Sales reps are totally cool with this. Finally, Cycle Gear has some very low cost "store brands". Turns out that Cycle Gear is merged with two other top online motorcycle gear stores, so they are large enough to create their own product lines. I recently bought a Strada Systema modular helmet for a fraction of the price I paid two years ago for the Shoei NeoTec II. And I like the Strada better! "

"Hello, I went to Cycle Gear in San Francisco to purchase a medium, flat black Shoei RF-1400 helmet! I called ahead to make sure they had my size and color and Elias answered. He confirmed they did and proceeded to hold it for me until I got there. Once I arrived, I spoke with him, we tried on the helmet to ensure it fit well, and we had small talk about why I chose this helmet. He actually brought out his personal RF-1400 to show me the Bluetooth system I was looking into, which he conveniently already had on! He explained the helmet details and installed my pinlock insert and chin skirt with ease. Elias is a great guy with amazing customer service. I will be back to purchase the Cardo Packtalk Black! "

"I went into this store six months ago, walked around and left because nobody
offered to help me. (I was in the market for two complete sets of riding gear).
Two weeks ago I decided to give them another try when I received an email about a Dainese air vest that was on sale. This was a totally different experience. I went into the store a total of three times over the course of several days and each time I was immediately greeted by at least one, if not three, sales personnel. Elias was helpful, accommodating and friendly. I will be going back to shoo for other items. I am also glad to hear that they are now part of the RevZilla company.....another “Plus” in my book. "
